FRIENDS ARE A PRESENT.............

YOU GIVE YOURSELF!

I look to befriend ones who I feel will have a good influence in my life. Who I can imitate and learn good qualities from. It is such a gift when you find these pearls in the sand. I have been digging, stopping to make a castle here and there, but I think I might have struck it rich. I have run into some pearls who are shimmering with light that I hope will able me to shine as well. I think you know who you are. Beth Moore was my link to you in some way or other. I just want you (A, J, S, G, and C) to know I look forward to getting to know you better.

Bobbie, we (I feel sure I can safely speak for the others too) welcome you into our little niche of the blogging community. You'll find great people who enjoy life and sharing it with others. Along the way they desire to share Truth while exhorting, encouraging, laughing, crying, teaching and just loving one another as we travel our journey.

I look forward to getting to know you better, too!

My sister's name is Marsha but from my earliest words I called her Bobbie and it stuck! My family finally decided maybe it was the "bottle" she brought me and I would say, "Bobbie." Who knows, but the name holds a soft spot in my heart! Is your sister older than you? Mine is 9 yrs older than I. Lol!

Hey, how are you? I check in on your's and Stacy's blogs every once in a while. I hope ya'll don't mind. I was catching up on what's been going on with you.

I'll keep you in my prayers that things work out w/ya'll in Tennessee, the church situation and adjustment to your new home. I know the strange feeling of not feeling like you have a place you fit. We moved so much when I was younger, I felt this way alot. We were often times away from family, too, which was difficult. I've been at the same church now since meeting my husband 13 years ago. That is now such a blessing to have that 2nd family. I hope you are able to have this soon, too.

Have a great holiday season!
Tara
